Since early February, we’ve been working with Trails Outdoor School on a student-led initiative to measure the cafeteria’s post-consumer food waste. We held a week-long Food Waste Audit in late February. Students are currently sorting through the data, and thinking about their next steps towards reducing their school’s waste while benefiting the community.
